The McCall Life editorial team has had some wide-ranging, weird, and fun conversations this week about many philosophical topics. The root cause of these discussions is probably my struggle with the boredom of recovery from injury. In any event, our most interesting conversation was about the so-called "Paradise Paradox," the weirdly high rate of mental health issues present in mountain towns – places all of us consider paradise.
The Daily Montanan just published a riveting piece about this topic earlier this week. It's worth a read. You can access it here.
In other news, we received an interesting press release (yes, I know that's an oxymoron) from the Forest Service explaining why The Shoshone National Forest is a First Among Forests. Give it a read and use the comments section to let us know what you think.
Have a great weekend!
